💡 Did you know

  • The Spinner design debuted as the WWE Championship on April 12, 2005, when John Cena introduced it after winning the title at WrestleMania 21, replacing the previous Undisputed-style belt.
  • John Cena personally collaborated on every detail of the Spinner's design — including the shape of the spinning center plate, the size and placement of the diamonds, and the feel of the leather strap.
  • Though originally intended as a custom belt exclusive to Cena's reign, the Spinner became the official WWE Championship design for nearly eight years (2005–2013), making it one of the longest-running title designs in company history.
  • Notable champions who carried the Spinner design include Edge (who wore a 'Rated-R Spinner' variation), Triple H, Randy Orton, CM Punk, The Miz, and Jeff Hardy before The Rock retired the design in February 2013.
