• •The belt debuted on April 3, 2016 at WrestleMania 32, when WWE Hall of Famer Lita unveiled it to replace the Divas Championship, with Charlotte winning the inaugural title in a triple threat match against Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks.
• •The 2016 design uses the 'Network Logo' style — the same center-plate format as the men's WWE Championship introduced in 2014 — but with a smaller white strap and a red background behind the die-cut WWE logo instead of black.
• •It was the first women's title in WWE history to feature customizable, removable side plates that could be swapped out to display each reigning champion's personal logo.
• •Following the 2016 WWE Draft, Charlotte was assigned to Raw and the belt was officially renamed the Raw Women's Championship on September 5, 2016, retaining the exact same physical design it carried from WrestleMania 32.
